Corals Now and Then

Look at modern corals and walk on fossil beds to compare them with Devonian corals. The program starts inside with a review of modern corals and their ecosystem. Then, we hike to the fossil beds to look at Devonian corals and compare them with their living counterparts. It is led by park interpretive naturalist Dr. Dominique McCowan, a research scientist who studies coral ecology and evolutionary biology. Regular admission applies.
