"Twigs" - STEM program for Preschoolers

“Twigs” is our little STEM program for 3- to 5-year-olds. Park interpretive naturalist Dominique McCowen has developed a hands-on program where youngsters can build, create, and think in STEM (which stands for science, technology, engineering, and math). Twigs will offer three different activities from 10 AM to noon in our outdoor classroom made of logs and stone. Activities may include some of these: Lincoln logs, building blocks, fossil rubbings, toy animals including dinosaurs, animal sounds / charades, exploring the rocks & fossils in the outdoor classroom.
