Live Racing at Churchill Downs | Nov. 1-26, Wednesday - Sunday
Experience live Thoroughbred horse racing at Churchill Downs this Fall! Races will start at 1pm on Wednesdays through Sundays and include special events such as a Breeders' Cup Watch Party, Military Appreciation Day, First Responders Day, Senior Day, and live racing on both Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Louisville Chocolate, Wine & Whiskey Festival | November 4
Taking place at the Mellwood Arts Center, this sweet and savory festival features a broad selection of artisan chocolates, premium wines, and fine whiskies, along with cakes, cookies, candies, champagne and prosecco. Tickets include chocolate samples, whiskey samples, boozy milkshakes, a wine glass, and Louisville's 1st chocolate fondue bar. The event is exclusively 21+, and VIP tickets are available.
ColorFest at Bernheim Forest | Nov. 4 & 5
Named one of the Best Places to See Fall Colors in the U.S. by Lonely Planet, Louisville has a variety of locations to visit while in town during the colorful fall months. Bernheim Forest will show off the region's famous foliage with two days of activities during this annual Fall Festival. A corn pit, mud pie kitchen, pumpkin rolling, giant launch, nature games, and giant slides will be some of the available activities in addition to a hillside grass maze that was added in 2022. ColorFest will take place from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
North American Championship Rodeo | Nov. 9-11
Held at historic Freedom Hall this high-energy lineup of events includes bull riding, team roping, women's barrel racing, rodeo clowns and more as a part of the North American International Livestock Exposition.
Lights Under Louisville | Nov. 10 - Jan. 1, 2024
This one-of-a-kind underground holiday light show will take you on a 30-minute drive through a portion of Louisville Mega Cavern's 17 miles of underground passageways. The event features more than 900 lit displays, a laser light show, and over six million points of light.
Louisville Book Festival | Nov. 10 & 11
Held at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Downtown Louisville this annual, free, event celebrates and promotes the love and the benefits of reading, writing, and literacy. Meet over 100 authors, presenters, and characters who are part of the 2023 lineup and help further the festival's mission of giving all children access to books in their homes.
Throo the Zoo 5K | Nov. 11
Enjoy the wildest 5K in town as you race “Throo” the Louisville Zoo alongside some of your favorite Zoo residents like giraffes, rhinos, flamingos, and bears. All participants receive a free t-shirt, commemorative finisher’s medal, and an admittance ticket back to the Zoo so you can return and enjoy a visit at a more leisurely pace.

Making stops at arenas across North America, P!nk's TRUSTFALL Tour will come to downtown Louisville on the second Saturday November. The Grammy Award-winner is lauded for her high-flying and energetic performances coupled with her chart-topping songs like So What and Raise Your Glass.
Louisville Pizza Week | Nov. 13-19
Paying homage to all things pizza, local Louisville pizza joints will bake up their best creations for seven days during this annual culinary event. Those who stop by four or more participating restaurants will be entered to win up to $300 in gift cards by submitting pictures of the photogenic pies.
10 Neat Years Celebrations at Evan Williams Bourbon Experience | Nov. 18
Evan Williams Bourbon Experience is celebrating 10 years since opening the doors of its downtown distillery on Louisville's Main Street. From 12-4pm on Saturday, November 18, a block party will be held at Repurposed On Main (615 West Main St.) with Bourbon tastings, food trucks, vendor booths, and live music. Head down the street to the EWBE Distillery (528 W. Main St.) for an open house featuring tours and tastings, retail promotions, and a specialty cocktail. Admission to both the block party and open-house are free and their is no advanced registration required.
Paristown’s Fête De Noël | Nov. 24 - Jan. 2
Paristown’s Fête De Noël ("Festival of Christmas") is a 6-week, winter holiday festival featuring Louisville’s only authentic outdoor ice skating rink. Shop, eat, and drink your way through the Winter Holiday Village and enjoy special holiday movie nights, karaoke, and silent disco on ice, along with ornament decorating at historic Stoneware & Co.
Wizard Brewfest & Movie Night | Nov. 25
Taking place for the first time at Lynn Family Stadium in Butchertown, this family-friendly event will feature a showing of Harry Potter & The Sorcerers Stone from 5-7pm followed by a Brewfest until 11pm. Participants are encouraged to dress in their witch & wizard best before taking a walk through a magical alley with fun photo ops, shopping for the perfect holiday gifts, sampling wizard cocktails, dancing the night away to a live band, or enjoying some up-close magic.
TINA: The Tine Turner Musical | Nov. 28 - Dec. 3
An uplifting comeback story like no other, The Tina Turner Musical is the inspiring journey of a woman who broke barriers and became the Queen of Rock n’ Roll. Performed at the Kentucky Center for the Arts in Downtown Louisville, The 2-hour and 40-minute event will highlight the career of the 12x Grammy Awards® winner, who has sold more concert tickets than any other solo performer in music history. Shows will run nightly, from Tuesday, November 28 to Sunday, December 3, with afternoon showings also on Saturday & Sunday.
